Project 9 - Ripple Motif 

In project 9 you will get the opportunity to practice reading patterns, holding the hook and yarn, creating a slipknot, doing a yarn over, chain stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet and a treble crochet, work in rows, change colour, increase, finish/fasten off and weave ends.

Instructions: 

Using your chosen yarn make ch30 (includes ch3 turning chain)

Row 1: Work tr in 4th ch from the hook, *in each of the next sts, 2htr, 6dc, 2htr, 2tr* then 2tr, then rep from * to * to the end of row. Turn.  (28 sts)

Note the first tr of each row is a turning chain = ch3 and counts as a stitch throughout.

Row 2: *2tr into the same st, 4tr in each of the next stitches, tr2tog, tr2tog, 4tr in each of the next stitches, 2tr into the same st* then rep from * to * to the end of row. Turn.  (28 sts)

Row 3-13: Rep row 2 for 11 rows.  (28 sts)

Row 14: ch1, *in each of the next sts 3dc, 2htr, 4tr, 2htr, 3dc* then rep from * to * to the end of row.  FO (28 sts)

The chart below is a simplified version of the pattern showing the first and final rows and how the middle rows repeat.
